and
Friday October 20, 2023 between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm

RMS Walking School Bus:
To support positive school attendance, the Roland Michener Parent Council is initiating a “Walking School Bus”. A “Walking School Bus” is simply a group of parents who volunteer their time to walk students to school alongside their own children.
The RMS Parent Council is looking for volunteers to walk children to school. If you regularly walk your children to school and are willing to volunteer to walk other students to school at the same time, please e-mail the Walking School Bus Volunteer Coordinator at RMSWalkingSchoolBus@outlook.com. We will try to match students with parent volunteers who live in close proximity to one another.
For any reason, if you feel your child would benefit from being walked to school by a parent volunteer, please contact the Walking School Bus Volunteer Coordinator at RMSWalkingSchoolBus@outlook.com. The volunteer coordinator will match your child with a parent volunteer who can walk them to school.
