Terry Fox Run

We are excited to announce that Roland Michener School will be participating in the annual Terry Fox Run on Monday, September 22 @ 1:45 - 2:30pm.

This special event honors Terry Fox’s legacy and his incredible Marathon of Hope, which continues to inspire people across Canada to raise funds for cancer research.

Parents and guardians are welcome to join us for the run if they are able! It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and support a great cause.

Orange Shirt Day

On September 26, RMS will join schools and communities across Canada in recognizing Orange Shirt Day. This important day serves as a reminder of our shared commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.

We encourage students to wear an orange shirt to school on September 26.

Attendance

Regular attendance at school fosters students' confidence in themselves as learners and enhances their role as active participants and valuable contributors in their school community. Even in early grades, regular attendance lays the foundation for students' academic success, positioning them for high school completion and future career opportunities.

Scent Free School

A reminder that RMS is a scent free school. We ask students to not wear perfumes, colognes, or body sprays to school.

Important Online Forms

Parents/Guardians will have received an email from CBE with a reminder to complete important online forms for their child. Please ensure these forms are completed, as they are important for the school to communicate with parents/guardians and to provide educational opportunities for students.

Please also check the settings in your MyCBE account regarding what types of communication you receive from the school.
