Report Cards
Report cards are now available online. Parents and guardians need to log in to their MyCBE/PowerSchool account to access their child’s report card. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s learning or report card, please connect with your child’s teacher.
School Conferences
School conferences are scheduled for March 19 (evening) and 20 (morning), with bookings opening on March 12. We encourage all parents and guardians to book a conference time. These conversations offer valuable insight into your child’s learning, progress, and next steps.
Be Brave Hitman Game
Our students had a memorable and exciting experience at the Be Brave hockey game. The event was not only fun but also meaningful, giving students the opportunity to come together, cheer as a community, and learn about the important anti-bullying message behind the game. It was a wonderful day of connection, school spirit, and shared memories! Thank-you to all of our parent volunteers for joining us for the day!
Black History Month
Throughout February, students engaged in learning about Black History Month and the rich history, achievements, and contributions of Black communities and individuals in Canada and around the world. The CBE remains committed to advancing equity and antiracism within the school system through the work of CBE CARES (Collaboration for Anti-Racism and Equity Supports). Addressing racism and discrimination is ongoing work that requires open conversation with staff, students, and community.
Gymnastics Safety
Throughout March, students will be participating in gymnastics in gym class. To help keep all students safe during gymnastics, please ensure your child:
• Has his/her hair pulled back
• Is not wearing a hoodie or loose clothing
• Is able to tuck his/her shirt into his/her pants
• Is not wearing jewelry
• Is wearing shoes or barefeet (no socks)
Thank-you for helping us create a safe and successful learning environment and experience!
